Call of the Dead — "Ensemble Cast"​

BO1: 2+ players required.

This quest rewards the Golden Rod, which becomes important for the Moon Easter Egg.


You'll want:

• Power ON
• V-R11
• Explosive weapon/equipment

Step 1 — Open the Ultimis door​

1. Go to the area underneath PhD Flopper.
2. Find the locked door.
3. Knife the door.
4. Richtofen will speak.

Now find a fuse.


Possible locations include:

• Table near PhD Flopper
• Another table nearby
• Floor near a locker

Pick it up.

1. Take it back to the door.
2. Put it into the fuse box.
3. Knife the door again.

Step 2 — Destroy the four generators​

You need an explosive. Useful options include:

• Frag Grenades
• Semtex
• RPG
• China Lake
• Crossbow
• Scavenger
• Other qualifying explosives

Destroy the four glowing generators.

Locations:

1. Across from the Ultimis door
2. Outside the Stamin-Up building
3. In the water behind the ship
4. Between the two sections of the ship

After destroying all four:

1. Return to the Ultimis door.
2. Knife it again.

Step 3 — Four radios​

You now need to activate four radios in the correct order.

The radio locations are:

1. Below the power room
2. On a barrel in the Stamin-Up room
3. Inside a container on the ship
4. Under the staircase inside the Ultimis room

Activate them in the correct sequence.

If successful, you'll hear the Morse-code confirmation and see the next objective.

Step 4 — Lighthouse controls​

Go to the power room.

You'll find a console with three levers.

Set them:

• Left lever: down once
• Middle: leave untouched
• Right: down three times

Then go to the ship's steering wheel.
Turn the wheel right twice so the handle points around 5 o'clock.


If correct:

A submarine appears.

Step 5 — Get the Golden Rod​

This is the fun part.

You need the V-R11.

1. Find a normal zombie.
2. Shoot it with the V-R11.
3. It turns into a human.
4. Get it to run toward the lighthouse.
5. It will enter the lighthouse.
6. The submarine's beam begins pulling it upward.

Now:

1. Damage the human with explosives while it's being pulled upward.
2. Continue until the required damage is dealt.
3. The Golden Rod appears at the bottom of the lighthouse.
4. Pick it up.

Step 6 — Finish​

1. Take the Golden Rod back to the Ultimis door.
2. Put it into the transfer tube beside the door.
3. Wait for Richtofen's dialogue.
4. The fuse box starts sparking.
5. Knife the fuse box.
6. Finish the dialogue.

Ensemble Cast complete.


You'll receive the Wunderwaffe DG-2 as the reward.
And importantly:
The Golden Rod is needed later for Moon.
